Artography: New Images

For several years I have been working on a project I call “Artography” which is the creation of in-camera photographic images that depict graphic patterns in nature that at first glance seem purely abstract but on closer inspection reveal recognizable nature subjects. Artography does not rely on special photographic techniques, post-production magic, far-flung travel, or even magic light. The subjects are available everyday in nature and only require that I am open to seeing possibilities. Below are six recent discoveries.
